Itâs only fair to mention that Bruce had lived in a trailer quite beyond his means for a long time. Over an interview, he talked about how he never got himself a bank loan to buy a house, because he didnât want to be tied to a debt. Bruce claims he thought heâd get himself a house when he could afford it in cash, and in the meanwhile he lived as economically as possible. During those years he read that airliners were being retired at an alarming rate and ended up rotting on airplane graveyards. It was a shame because they were marvels of aerospace engineering that could surely be put to use as homes and not mediocre homes, but rather superlative.
